Walt Disney World Polynesian Resort Update (Construction, Gingerbread Houses & Wyland Galleries)

We start out this quick Polynesian tour looking at the beach being torn apart to make way for the rumored DVC.

A look at the Polynesian construction from the Magic Kingdom ferry boat.

Last look at the construction for the Polynesian DVC.
While strolling thru the Polynesian, we came across the 2013 CM Gingerbread House contest.

The first house on display was this great Spaceship Earth

The other was this gingerbread house.
Lastly, we decided to take a last tour thru the Wyland Galleries. It's rumored to be closing at the end of the year.

Wyland Galleries features very fine high-end art.

Here's a great Lilo & Stitch piece.

It's definitely fun to look around, but I just don't know how many people were actually making high-end purchases on vacation.

Interesting shark decor.

More Lilo & Stitch artwork.
It was actually busy with people, not sure if anyone was purchasing.

We will end with the outside window displays.
