Photo Trip Report: Magic Kingdom from January 13, 2014 (Refurbishment at the Kingdom)

Today's trip report update comes from the Magic Kingdom.

January is typically a time for lower attendance, therefore, more refurbishment.

Casey's Corner is under refurbishment at the moment, as well as the walkway nearest.

Refurb walls facing Casey's Corner (in front of Crystal Palace).

Outdoor seating is behind walls at Starlight Cafe.

Average crowds for this time of year. Not too light, not too heavy.

The walkway over near the entrance to the Liberty Square Riverboat is getting re-done.

Here's a peek around the walls. Demo work on the concrete walls.

With temps in the mid 70s, it was a beautiful afternoon to be at the Kingdom.

Frontierland Hoedown Happening .... actually draws quite a crowd. Brer Bear, Wendell and Horace Horsecollar dance.

Quiet over here...The Brers are checking something out. What do they see?

Ahh...they see that Splash Mountain is behind walls for it's annual refurbishment until March 2014.

Aladdin's Magic Carpets as well as the spitting camel out front are also down.

Aladdin's Meet & Greet area, plus the market shops.....also down behind skrims.

Walkway's pretty crowded in New Fantasyland.

Slowly but surely, work continues on the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster.

Another look at the Mine Train Coaster from Fantasyland.

Pinocchio Village Haus recently got updated with tables and seating outside.

Stroller parking, and concrete benches outside Village Haus.

WDI meeting right outside Village Haus.

Lastly, we ran into Pin Trading expert Scoop Sanderson. He was showcasing the new Hidden Mickey series for 2014. Here you can see the Rapunzel Parking Lot Sign, 2 Pascal's, It's A Small World girl, Nemo on a drawing pad and Dopey.
