Magic Kingdom Photo Report Update (2/23/14) Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Update, King Triton statue

Update from yesterday, taking a look at the construction of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster.

More grass has been put up all around the mountain

Some buildings in and around the structure are nearing completion for Spring '14 opening.

Amazing, immersive detail on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster.

The waterfall is running and goes under the bridge walkway now.

More new grass work up on top of the Mine Train structure.

Last look at the Mine Train Coaster for this week.

Gaston had his meet & greet moved again to the bridge area. It's a real mess of on-lookers blocking the walkway when it is over here as opposed to near the restrooms in the back of New Fantasyland.

Some charred black grass in the middle of this picture of the Mermaid ride, from the fireworks fallout a week back.

A new King Triton statue is now in front of a DVC kiosk. It resembles the Triton statue from the old 20K lagoon.

Inside of DVC has some sketches of the Triton and Ariel statues in the area.

Ursula, the sea witch is on this "Destinations of the World" framed picture.

Here you can see the mine train above where this kiosk is located.

The clouds were building on this fine Sunday afternoon. Some bad storms came thru just northwest of the Magic Kingdom. Also, if rumors are true, expect these moats to be filled in to help congestion inside the hub.

Another look at the great cloud formations over the Magic Kingdom on this Sunday.

Lastly, as we left, we took a quick tour of the remodeled Casey's Corner. Gone are the bench bleachers as well as the large movie screen that played black & white cartoons.
